Before there were hipsters wearing berets, there was Max Fischer from 'Rushmore'. This film is like that smart, quirky kid in class who somehow manages to be both annoying and endearing. It’s the sleeper hit that makes you root for the underdog, and honestly, who hasn’t fantasized about dramatically quitting a club with a smoke bomb after watching this? Also, Bill Murray in shorts is a cultural reset.
